იუსტიციის სამინისტროს დელეგაციამ გაერო-ს დანაშაულის პრევენციისა და სისხლის სამართლის მართლმსაჯულების კონგრესში მიიღო მონაწილეობა
საქართველოს იუსტიციის მინისტრის მოადგილე გიორგი დგებუაძემ იუსტიციის სამინისტროს დელეგაციასთან ერთად გაერთიანებული ერების ორგანიზაციის (გაერო) დანაშაულის პრევენციისა და სისხლის სამართლის მართლმსაჯულების მე-15 კონგრესში მიიღო მონაწილეობა. კონგრესის ფარგლებში სიტყვით გამოსვლისას გიორგი დგებუაძემ ყურადღება გაამახვილა დანაშაულის პრევენციისა და მსჯავრდებულთა რეაბილიტაცია-რესოციალიზაციის მიმართულებით საქართველოში გატარებულ რეფორმებზე, მათ შორის, განრიდებისა და მედიაციის პროგრამებზე, არასრულწლოვანთა რეაბილიტაციისა და მხარდაჭერის მხრივ განხორციელებულ ინიციატივებზე. საქართველოს იუსტიციის მინისტრის მოადგილემ მონაწილეობა მიიღო, ასევე, სისხლის სამართლის სფეროში საერთაშორისო თანამშრომლობის გაძლიერებისადმი მიძღვნილ სხდომაში, სადაც მან ისაუბრა საერთაშორისო სამართლებრივი ურთიერთდახმარების, ექსტრადიციისა და მსჯავრდებულთა სასჯელის შემდგომი მოხდის მიზნით გადაცემის მნიშვნელობასა და ქვეყნებს შორის მჭიდრო თანამშრომლობის საჭიროებაზე ტრანსნაციონალური დანაშაულის წინააღმდეგ ეფექტიანი ბრძოლისათვის. კონგრესის პარალელურად, საქართველოს დელეგაციამ, თანამშრომლობის გაღრმავების მიზნით, ორმხრივი შეხვედრები გამართა თურქეთის, აზერბაიჯანის, სომხეთის, იტალიისა და იაპონიის დელეგაციებთან, ასევე, გაეროს დანაშაულის პრევენციისა და სისხლის სამართლის პროგრამის ქსელის (PNI) მონაწილე სისხლის სამართლის მართლმსაჯულებისა და ადამიანის უფლებების საერთაშორისო ინსტიტუტის (SII) წარმომადგენლებთან. საქართველოს იუსტიციის სამინისტროს დელეგაციის შემადგენლობაში იმყოფებოდნენ, ასევე, ანალიტიკური დეპარტამენტის უფროსი გიორგი ლომთაძე; სსიპ - დანაშაულის პრევენციის, არასაპატიმრო სასჯელთა აღსრულებისა და პრობაციის ეროვნული სააგენტოს უფროსი გიორგი საჯაია და ამავე სააგენტოს ანალიტიკური დეპარტამენტის უფროსი იასონ ნაჭყებია.

Juvenile beneficiaries of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation took part in a clay-working masterclass held at a ceramics studio. During the recreational and educational activity, the participants were introduced to the techniques of working with clay and had the opportunity to create various handmade items. The masterclass aimed to contribute to the resocialization and rehabilitation of juveniles, while also encouraging creativity, practical skills, and interest in potential vocational opportunities. The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation remains committed to supporting juvenile beneficiaries through educational, developmental, and rehabilitative activities.

The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-custodial Sentence Execution and Probation held a working meeting focused on enhancing employment opportunities for individuals in conflict with the law. During the meeting, held on September 22, representatives of the Ministry of Justice’s Center for Vocational Training and Retraining of Convicts and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs discussed ways to facilitate the employment of individuals in conflict with the law. The participants also reviewed existing challenges and explored effective mechanisms for addressing them. Supporting beneficiaries in accessing employment opportunities is an important component of the Agency’s resocialization and rehabilitation efforts and remains one of its key priorities. The Agency will continue to strengthen cooperation with partner institutions and implement joint initiatives aimed at promoting employment and supporting the successful reintegration of beneficiaries into society.

During the meeting in Rustavi, Giorgi Sajaia presented the Agency’s main areas of activity, key priorities, and future plans. The participants discussed the Bureau’s ongoing work, current challenges, and ways to further improve operational processes. The meeting also focused on specific measures aimed at enhancing the efficiency, flexibility, and effectiveness of the Agency’s activities. Giorgi Sajaia also heard the staff’s views and suggestions on various matters related to the Agency’s work
