A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Batumi between the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation and the Ajara Youth Palace. Within the framework of the cooperation, juveniles will have the opportunity to participate in various cognitive, creative and technical activities. The partnership between the agency and the palace aims to promote the social integration, personal development and resocialization-rehabilitation process of beneficiaries.

Within the framework of ongoing educational and recreational initiatives, the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation, with the support of the Museum of Illusions, continues to offer diverse development-oriented activities for its beneficiaries. During the visit, the participants explored various interactive installations, including holographic portraits, anti-gravity rooms, rotating spaces, and other visually engaging exhibits designed to challenge perception and stimulate curiosity. Georgian National Probation Agency Participates in Panel Discussion in Ankara

Head of the Analytical Department of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-custodial Sentences and Probation, Iason Nachkebia, participated in a panel discussion organized by the Ministry of Justice of Turkey and the UNICEF Turkey Office in Ankara. During the session, participants reviewed key trends and challenges related to analytical and research activities in the justice sector. Particular emphasis was placed on evaluating the effectiveness of restorative justice programs and studying recidivism among juveniles. Within the framework of the visit, Iason Nachkebia also met with Hüseyin Şik, General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses Ministry of Justice. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Turkey in the probation field.

A joint book and animation project was carried out for the beneficiaries of the Juvenile Referral Center of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation.

A joint book and animation project was carried out for the beneficiaries of the Juvenile Referral Center of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation. As part of the rehabilitation program, participants explored the process of developing characters and bringing them to life through animation. The teenagers also had the unique opportunity to transform their own drawings and stories into animated heroes. Such initiatives aim to strengthen the beneficiaries’ creative abilities and contribute to their resocialization and rehabilitation.
