Beneficiaries of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation visited the LEPL – David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia as part of a cognitive tour. During the visit, they explored the academy's campus, including its military museums, lecture halls, and recreational facilities. They also learned about the academy's integrated higher education programs and military education opportunities. The Agency regularly organizes cognitive tours to broaden beneficiaries' knowledge, support career orientation, and introduce them to educational and professional opportunities. These activities play an important role in promoting their rehabilitation, resocialization, and successful reintegration into society.

Kazakh Delegation Introduced to Georgia’s Unique “Probbox” Innovation.The members of the delegation were introduced to “Probbox,” an innovative technological solution developed by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Equipped with fingerprint and facial recognition technology, the device enables probationers to access a wide range of services remotely, without the need to visit a probation bureau in person. This innovative approach enhances accessibility, ensures greater privacy, and expands service coverage across the country. “Probbox” is a unique Georgian innovation with no known international equivalent.Currently, “Probbox” units are installed in Tbilisi and 23 municipalities throughout Georgia. In 2025 alone, nearly 200,000 services were delivered through the system, demonstrating its effectiveness and growing importance in probation service delivery.During the visit, the Kazakh delegation explored Georgia’s innovative approaches to public service provision and digital transformation. The study visit also included meetings at the House of Justice of Georgia, the Justice Training Center, and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, where participants learned about modern service delivery practices and citizen-oriented reforms implemented across the justice sector.

The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation of the Ministry of Justice congratulated Juveniles on the Children's Day.As part of the celebrations, children took guided tours of the Botanical Garden and enjoyed a range of interactive, entertaining activities led by professional animators.The head of the Agency, Nika Tskhvarashvili, personally congratulated the participants on the occasion and presented them with symbolic gifts and sweets on behalf of the agency.Supporting the healthy development, rehabilitation, and social reintegration of young people, as well as preventing juvenile delinquency, remains one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Justice and the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation. Similar initiatives will continue to be implemented in the future to promote the well-being and positive development of juveniles.

A personal exhibition of a beneficiary of the Juvenile Referral Center of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation was held. All funds raised through the exhibition sale will be entirely donated to the beneficiary The exhibition showcased various artworks created by the teenager as part of art therapy activities. The event was aimed at supporting the rehabilitation and resocialization of the juveniles, as well as encouraging the development of their professional skills and interests. The agency will continue implementing beneficiary-oriented educational projects and supporting young people in the future.

A seminar was held on the topic of strengthening work with perpetrators of domestic violence.Representatives of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation, the Special Penitentiary Service, and the State Care Agency, along with international experts, engaged in practical discussions on key issues such as understanding violent behavior, managing aggression, regulating emotions, and addressing gender norms. The cooperation between the participating institutions supports stronger inter-agency coordination and promotes the introduction of evidence-based interventions, which is essential for improving violence prevention strategies and ensuring a safer environment. The seminar was organized at the initiative of UN Women and with the support of the European Union, with the aim of enhancing work with perpetrators of domestic violence.
