Agency Beneficiaries Visit the Emergency Management Service of MIA of Georgia. The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation, with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, organized an educational visit to the Emergency Management Service for its beneficiaries. During the visit, participants toured the exhibition space, gained insight into the responsibilities and daily activities of firefighter-rescuers, and engaged in practical simulation exercises. The initiative aimed to broaden beneficiaries’ understanding of different career paths, encourage their professional interests, and help them make informed decisions about their future careers. The Agency will continue to implement similar educational and career-oriented activities to support the personal and professional development of its beneficiaries.

Head of the National Agency for Crime Prevention and Probation Holds Working Meetings with Regional Bureau Staff. Giorgi Sajaia, Head of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation, met with employees of the Shida Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti Probation Bureaus. During the meetings, Giorgi Sajaia presented the Agency’s strategic priorities, key areas of focus, and future plans. The discussions addressed the bureaus’ current activities, existing challenges, and opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness. Particular attention was given to identifying practical measures to improve work processes and ensure a more efficient, flexible, and results-oriented approach. The meetings also provided an opportunity for open dialogue, allowing employees to share their perspectives, raise work-related concerns, and offer suggestions for improving the Agency’s work.

International Day of the Girl Marked at the Juvenile Referral Center. The Juvenile Referral Center of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-custodial Sentences and Probation hosted an event dedicated to International Day of the Girl. The event aimed to raise awareness of girls' rights, highlight the importance of education, and promote equal opportunities. Participants engaged in discussions on key issues, including early marriage, gender stereotypes, and ways to prevent discrimination. At the end of the event, the beneficiaries were presented with symbolic gifts. The Agency remains committed to protecting the rights of minors, promoting awareness, and creating opportunities for their personal growth and development. Established by the United Nations, International Day of the Girl has been observed annually since 2012.

Juvenile Beneficiaries Participate in an Educational Program at Rustavi History Museum.Juvenile beneficiaries of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation took part in a cultural and educational visit to the Rustavi History Museum.As part of the visit, the juveniles participated in the interactive program “Fun Archaeology,” where they experienced a simulated archaeological excavation and discovered various historical artifacts and ethnographic exhibits preserved at the museum.The activity was designed to broaden the participants’ interests, encourage their engagement in educational and cultural experiences, and contribute to their rehabilitation and resocialization.The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation will continue organizing similar initiatives to support the personal development and social reintegration of its juvenile beneficiaries.
Minister of Justice Meets Young Participants of Paid Internship Program
The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Paata Salia, met with 189 young people selected to undertake paid internships across the Ministry of Justice system as part of the state internship program initiated by the Prime Minister. The Minister congratulated the interns on successfully completing the competitive selection process and highlighted the importance of the program as an opportunity to take their first steps in a professional environment and gain valuable practical experience. He encouraged them to use the internship period effectively, demonstrate initiative, ask questions, express their ideas, and become actively involved in the agencies' work. Paata Salia noted that the Ministry of Justice considers the internship program not only an opportunity for young people to develop professional knowledge and practical skills, but also an important means of attracting motivated and qualified young professionals to the system. The Ministry aims to ensure that successful participation in the program creates opportunities for further professional growth and future employment. In 2026, a total of 293 internship vacancies were announced across the Ministry of Justice and 12 Legal Entities of Public Law operating within its system. The competition attracted 6,639 applications, from which 189 interns were ultimately selected. The results of the previous year also demonstrate opportunities for continued professional development within the system. Of the 156 interns who joined the program in 2025, 109 had their internships extended, while several participants were subsequently offered employment. The paid internship lasts three months and may be extended. The internship period is officially recognized as work experience or length of service.

The masterclass aimed to contribute to the resocialization and rehabilitation of juveniles, while also encouraging creativity, practical skills, and interest in potential vocational opportunities. The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation remains committed to supporting juvenile beneficiaries through educational, developmental, and rehabilitative activities.

The National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-custodial Sentence Execution and Probation held a working meeting focused on enhancing employment opportunities for individuals in conflict with the law. During the meeting, held on September 22, representatives of the Ministry of Justice’s Center for Vocational Training and Retraining of Convicts and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs discussed ways to facilitate the employment of individuals in conflict with the law. The participants also reviewed existing challenges and explored effective mechanisms for addressing them. Supporting beneficiaries in accessing employment opportunities is an important component of the Agency’s resocialization and rehabilitation efforts and remains one of its key priorities. The Agency will continue to strengthen cooperation with partner institutions and implement joint initiatives aimed at promoting employment and supporting the successful reintegration of beneficiaries into society.
