A seminar was held on the topic of strengthening work with perpetrators of domestic violence.

Representatives of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation, the Special Penitentiary Service, and the State Care Agency, along with international experts, engaged in practical discussions on key issues such as understanding violent behavior, managing aggression, regulating emotions, and addressing gender norms.

 The cooperation between the participating institutions supports stronger inter-agency coordination and promotes the introduction of evidence-based interventions, which is essential for improving violence prevention strategies and ensuring a safer environment.

 The seminar was organized at the initiative of UN Women and with the support of the European Union, with the aim of enhancing work with perpetrators of domestic violence.
