A training session was conducted for mediators of the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-Custodial Sentences and Probation.
During the training, participants reviewed the legal framework of mediation and explored effective communication techniques. They also discussed practical challenges faced in mediation practice and emphasized the importance of maintaining high professional standards.
The training was led by an invited trainer, Associate Professor Moris Shalikashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Tbilisi State University.
The main objective of the training was to enhance the professional competencies of mediators and expand their practical knowledge, thereby contributing to a more effective diversion and mediation process.
